About Joseph M. Salmonese
Inspective Home Inspection Corporation was founded by Master Home Inspector Joseph M. Salmonese to provide thorough, knowledgeable, and reliable inspections for Long Island homebuyers and property owners. Joseph is a Licensed Home Inspector in New York State and is nationally Certified through the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors (EBPHI). In addition to home inspections, he holds a NYSDEC Pesticide Technician License allowing him to perform Termite and Wood-Destroying Insect (WDI) inspections, as well as a NYSDOL Mold Assessor License. Joseph maintains his Commercial Property Inspector certification through CCPIA and is an active member of InterNACHI.
With over 18 years of service as a Firefighter and EMT - including leadership roles as Captain and Training Officer with the Greenlawn Fire Department - Joseph brings real-world emergency systems knowledge and building safety expertise to every inspection. He also holds a NYSDOH IB Water Treatment Operator License and brings over 16 years of hands-on experience in municipal water systems as part of the award-winning Greenlawn Water District - a multi-time Best Tasting Water Champion - along with extensive experience in water and air quality evaluation. Joseph’s professional background includes residential and commercial electrical work, where he earned national NCCER certification.
His combined experience in construction, electrical systems, fire safety, environmental conditions, and water quality provides clients with a deeper level of insight that goes beyond a standard home inspection.
