A commercial building inspection is a critical step in the purchase and maintenance process. Your new home came with a 1 year builder's warranty. After the 11th month of ownership, we inspect and report on any issues. This helps you to take full advantage of your warranty by having your builder make necessary repairs. 

We are licensed NYS DEC termite inspectors here to help you determine if there are termites or other wood destroying pests in the home and recommend the next steps in protecting your investment. 

We can test for the presence of radon gas, which can adversely affect the health of you and your family. We can help you ensure that your home is safe from the dangerous effects of radon. 

We can locate your underground utility lines so you can rest easy when digging or planning your next project. We locate:

• Electric power lines, cables, conduits, and lighting cables
• Gas, oil, steam, and petroleum lines
• Communication, alarm, and signal lines
• Water and irrigation 
• Sewer and drain lines

The sewer scope process allows us to locate and take a complete look at the interior of the waste piping, ascertaining the pipe material, the overall condition and what may be obstructing it. This protects you from unexpected issues that can result in bacteria laden water backing up into your house or building. A full color video of the process will be sent to you as well as a written report of the pipe and its associated issues.

We use drones to inspect roof coverings, vents, flashings, and chimneys. This allows us to get a full view of even hard to see roofs and include high resolution images in your report. 

We use advanced infrared cameras as part of every inspection. These tools can help us find missing insulation, moisture intrusion, plumbing leaks and other defects that aren't always visible to the naked eye. 

We offer water testing with laboratory analysis and reports. You can rest easy knowing your water quality and if further measures are necessary. Many of the water tests we perform include: 

• Bacteriological
• Inorganic Contaminants (Lead, Copper, Iron, Nitrate, Magnesium…)
• Synthetic Organic Contaminants (SOCs) (1,4 Dioxane, PFOS, PFOA…)
• VOCs, pH, CL2

We can test / sample the interior and exterior air quality of your home so you can be sure your family isn’t in danger of any toxins or allergens that may exist. 

We offer complete mold inspection, testing and reporting assessment services.  Our mold inspection reports include a summary of our significant observations, test results, and site-specific remediation protocols that fully describe the necessary mold removal work.
